ABOUT REIGNZ OWOICHO
Nigeria duo Reignz Owoicho are Afro-conscious songwriters and singers who decided to enter the music industry through discovery. Their unique musical style blends well with their inspiring and captivating lyrics with the fusion of their dialect (Idoma language). Their main goal as Afro-conscious musicians is to use their music to spread love globally.
“REIGNZ” Emmanuel and Gabriel Owoicho born on December 4th, 1998 discovered their passion and love for music while growing up in their homeland. They were influenced by the rugged street of Otukpo in Benue state, and they discovered that they had a voice that could be used to express their emotion through their songs. Furthermore, their ability as songwriters began to find expression because of their unique style, and in 2019 they released their first official track, “AMIN.” The first track took them to a new stage, and in 2021 they also released their self-debut EP known as “REIGNZEP.” The most popular single from the EP, “HOME and STORY,” gained airplay in Otukpo, Abuja, and Makurdi.
